Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my tree needs trimming or removal?
If the tree is healthy but has overgrown or dangerous limbs, trimming is often the right solution. Removal is usually only needed for dead, dying, or structurally unsafe trees.
Is it normal for branches to hang over my roof or driveway?
Branches that hang over structures can cause damage and should be trimmed back, especially before storm season.
Can trimming help prevent storm damage?
Yes. Removing weak, crowded, or poorly balanced limbs helps trees handle wind and heavy weather better.
When is the best time of year to trim trees?
That depends on the type of tree and the reason for trimming. We evaluate each situation and recommend timing that protects tree health.
What Our Clients say
D Johnson
After heavy storms damaged several backyard trees and limbs hung over neighbors' yards, several neighbors highly recommended Midwest Tree. Even though extremely busy, Mark took the time the same day I called to provide a free estimate. Mark and his awesome crew came late the same afternoon and worked into the evening and early the next morning to remove 3 large trees and 2 more small trees and then later a broken limb from another tree. All were courteous, efficient and worked as clean as they could given the recent rains. I would highly recommend Midwest Tree, Mark and his crew!
Frank Lazzaro
Midwest Tree did a very good job of trimming, cutting and disposing of branches and limbs which resulted from a major storm. The workers showed up as scheduled and worked diligently throughout the day. The individual mainly responsible for cutting branches was knowledgeable about what to cut and what not to cut. Overall I was very pleased with their work.
